An IP Address looks similar to this: 192.168.99.112. Each computer that connects to the internet has an IP address. You may notice an ongoing attack on your website from a specific IP address that you want to block.
To block an IP Address from accessing your website, you must login to your cPanel / Web hosting account.

Once logged in, scroll down until you reach the Security Section and click IP Blocker.
On this screen – you simply type the IP address you want to block into the box provided and click the Add button to complete. From this point forward if the IP address tries to visit your website – they will see a blocked screen and won’t be able to go any further.
