Two Factor Authentication

For extra protection, you can add Two Factor Authentication to your account. Firstly – you must login to your cPanel / Web hosting account.

Once logged in, scroll down until you reach the Security Section and click Two Factor Authentication.

By default – Two Factor Authentication is off on the account. To enable it – you will need to click the Setup Two Factor Authentication button.

Complete Step 1 by downloading an authentication app onto your mobile phone (Usually Google Authentication App) and scan the QR code shown on the screen to create the initial connection. As mentioned – you could do this manually using the codes provided, but the easiest way is to scan it.

Finally – create a six-digit number and click the Configure Two Factor Authentication to complete.
